Plaster Walls
Venetian plaster walls activate and give a dynamic, organic character to the space. The rough cloudy finish is hard-wearing, improves with age, and lifts the room by drawing your gaze upwards inviting your eyes to wander.
METALWORK & GLASS
Windows will be refitted with textured panes of glass to obscure views into the home from the street – set in brushed brass frames to accent the space. This language can be used between the living spaces, and particularly to elevate the office/study area.
mosaic floors
Terrazzo & marble mosaic renders the space bright, polished and seamless. Easy to clean and with virtually no upkeep, the tiles age well and will not begin to creak like wooden floors. The composition of the floor tiles delineates space and offers a sense of enclosure without the need for additional doorways, false-ceiling motifs, and carpets.
Woodwork
Simple, rhythmic wooden panelling brings hallways and doors to life, while allowing the separations to blend together and into the visual language of the apartment overall.
CABINETRY
Closet space throughout the flat will be designed into the architecture, offering ample storage, while maintaining a seamless, fitted design in line with the woodwork of the doors and hallways.
Tiling
Elegant tiling can offer texture and serenity to private, wet spaces. The vertical composition of the tiles elongates the space and echoes the woodwork and cabinets, maintaining consistency in visual language with the rest of the home.
